I absolute love this place!! Support this family establishment. It's been open less than a year and the food is absolutely amazing.

    Several recommendations on the menu:

    1. Buffalo tacos
    2. Garlic fried rice
    3. Crazy rich asian soup
    4. Loco moco

You gotta try their avocado smoothie oh and strawberry smoothie. So smooth!

This week my roommate and I went to The Vegan Plate after I saw someone post about it on Instagram.  Bonus it was right by our work located in Roseville, CA. The menu is very customer friendly, and has sections for oil-free as well as gluten-free. They had pizza, burgers, Asian food, street food, etc. They have so many options even the pickiest of eaters would be happy here.

We ordered the Veggie Pad Thai, Filipino Pancit, Wonton Noodle Soup, Steamed Veggie Dumplings, and Golden Rolls (Lumpia). They have generous sized portions, enough for us to have a large lunch and leftovers for dinner. They easily provide to go boxes so you can bring it home with you as well. The guy that brought our food out was so friendly and great with the customers. I saw a girl order the Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos, and that will be something I get next time, along with the Garlic Fried Rice and Maple Walnut Shrimp.

It was refreshing to see a restaurant that's true to there menu. Yes vegan and vegetarian. So many restaurants are jumping on the bandwagon claiming vegan or vegetarian and having only a few items to pick through. The Vegan Plate was just that vegan and vegetarian. We ordered quite a few items off the menu
and was impressed with all. The staff was friendly and made sure with our dinner came with a complimentary
Spring Roll. "Way to go" Would I take that hour drive to eat there again? Hell ya !!! Oh by the prices are very reasonable. The only problem I saw was the food ordering could use some streamlining. What happened to us was the couple in from of us couldn't decide what they wanted and the customers were backing up. Table menus and having servers take your order at your table might work out better. Other than that you need to go I know I will.

We had the Filipino Pancit and ramen today..  last time we had the kimchi bowl and cauliflower tacos..Simple perfection.  I have a feeling that anything you try here will be exceptional

Vegan Plate is like the Cheesecake Factory of plant based food - a menu so huge and varied that all you really get is average.

I've visited several times because I'm often in this area and every meal I have here I leave thinking of somewhere else that makes it better. It's not bad food, by any means, but it's just basic and nothing is really crave-worthy.

There's Korean, Chinese, Filipino, Thai, Malaysian and Vietnamese dishes as well as Italian, American, and Hawaiian on the menu. The flavors of most of what I've tried have a resemblance to the traditional versions, but in some cases they're way off. The Drunken Noodle, for example, should be just referred to as a stir-fry because not one thing about it tasted Thai.

I did enjoy the Aloha plate, cala-mushrooms, and honey walnut 'shrimp' and would order them again, but only if I was already in the area. In the greater Sacramento area you can throw a rock and hit an Asian restaurant with a great vegan option, so I won't be going out of my way to come here.

Simply put, they're trying to do too much here and would be better off creating a smaller menu of things done really well instead.
